Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ml)
for aloo masala:
  • 2 potatoes, small, boiled & mashed
  • 2 tbsp green chutney
  • ½ tsp sandwich masala
  • salt to taste

  • 3 slices
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp green chutney
  • 2 tbsp red onions, grated
  • 2 tbsp beetroot, boiled & grated
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 tbsp green capsicum, grated
  • 1 cheese cube
  • 2 tsp sandwich masala
for aloo masala:
  1. for aloo masala, mash potatoes in a small mixing bowl. then add all the other ingredients.
  2. mix well.

  1. first of all, take 3 bread slices and apply butter on 2 slices.
  2. then apply green chutney on all the 3 slices.
  3. now on one slice, spread aloo stuffing generously.
  4. then spread grated red onions and sprinkle sandwich masala generously.
  5. then place grated beet root and sprinkle sandwich masala.
  6. cover it with chutney slice facing down.
  7. now apply some butter and then chutney on the top.
  8. place tomatoes and sprinkle sandwich masala.
  9. then spread grated green capsicums and sprinkle sandwich masala.
  10. finally, top it with with grated cheese and cover it with the remaining bread slice.
  11. now apply butter on the top of the bread and place it upside down in a grill machine.
  12. apply some butter on the top slice.
  13. grill the sandwich.
  14. remove the sandwich once it is done and then cut into pieces.
  15. serve veg cheese grill sandwich / mumbai cheese grill sandwich hot.
Helpful Tips
- to get the same road side taste of the sandwich, sprinkle sandwich masala generously.

- also, add cucumber slices to make it more healthy.

- apply butter and cheese; more or less according to your taste.
