Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 1 cup sama chawal
  • 2 tbsp sabudana
  • 2 tbsp sour curd
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 3 tbsp rajigra flour
  • upwas namak to taste
  • 1 tbsp peanuts, crushed
  • 1-2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • upvas salt to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • a pinch of soda / fruit salt
  • 1 tbsp oil + 2 tsp oil
  1. take a bowl and add sama chawal and sabudana to it.
  2. then add sour curd and water.
  3. mix well.
  4. cover and soak for around 2 hours.
  5. add ginger, green chillies and soaked mixture to a mixture jar
  6. grind to a puree. don’t worry if sabudana is not grinder well.
  7. now add rajigra flour and mix well.
  8. cover and let it ferment for 7-8 hours.
  9. then add coriander leaves and mix well.
  10. finally add salt to taste, black pepper powder, fruit salt and oil. mix well.
  11. take apam pan and add a drop of oil to each mould.
  12. put a tablespoon of prepared mixture to it.
  13. let it cook properly till it is cooked one side. flip carefully.
  14. cook both the sides till golden brown on a medium flame.
  15. serve farali paniyaram hot with coriander chutney.
Helpful Tips
- add green chillies according to your taste.

- adding mint is optional but it tastes really well, so if you have mint do not miss adding it.
