Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ml)
for corn flour paste:
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour (maida)
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  • water as required
for stuffing mix:
  • 4 potatoes, boiled
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp tomato garlic chutney
for street style hyderabadi toast recipe:
  • oil to shallow fry
  • 4 bread slices
  • 2 tbsp green chutney
  • 1 tbsp garlic chutney
  • 2 tbsp dates tamarind chutney
  • 2 tbsp beaten yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • ½ cup nylon sev
for corn flour paste:
  1. take all the ingredients in a deep plate.
  2. mix well to make medium thick paste.
for stuffing mix:
  1. take a mixing bowl and add boiled potatoes in it.
  2. mash well.
  3. now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt to taste, coriander leaves and tomato garlic chutney.
  4. mix well.
for street style hyderabadi toast recipe:
  1. take bread slices and apply prepared stuffing generously on each slice.
  2. heat some oil in a pan and dip the stuffing side in prepared corn flour paste.
  3. shallow fry toast on both the sides on a medium flame.
  4. shallow fry till it turns golden brown and crispy.
  5. take it in on a paper towel and dab to take off extra oil.
  6. now take the toast in a serving plate and cut.
  7. apply green chutney, garlic chutney and dates tamarind chutney.
  8. over it, pour some beaten yoghurt, chopped onions, sev and finally top it up with coriander leaves.
  9. serve immediately. yummy and delicious hyderabadi aloo toast !!
Helpful Tips
- add spices according to taste while making stuffing. you can add vegetables like cabbage, carrot, beans or peas to the stuffing to make it healthy.

- adjust chutney according to your taste too. sprinkle sev generously.

- serve hyderabadi toast immediately after preparing it.
