Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 dry kashmiri red chillies
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds / jeera
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander cumin powder
  • 2 tsp jaggery, or as required
  1. first of all, heat a pan and add oil, dry red chillies and cumin seeds.
  2. once they sputter, add chopped pineapple pieces.
  3. next add turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  4. then add ¼ cup water & mix well.
  5. cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or till pineapple turns soft.
  6. then add red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder and jaggery.
  7. mix well and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
  8. serve as a side dish or with masala poori.
Helpful Tips
- add cardamom, cloves and cinnamon sticks in tempering to make the chutney more tasty.

- add spices and jaggery according to your taste.
