  • 1 banana, finely chopped
  • ½ apple, peeled & chopped
  • ½ mango, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds / cashew nuts / pistachios
to garnish:
  • cherries
  • trutti frutti
Instructions
for custard recipe:
  1. first of all heat a sauce pan and milk to it.
  2. meanwhile take a small bowl, add 4 tbsp homemade custard powder.
  3. to that add milk and make smooth, lump free mixture.
  4. once milk starts to boil, turn the flame to slow and add the prepared paste to it.
  5. mix well and keep stirring continuously.
  6. gradually, the mixture will start thickening.
  7. cook till you get the right consistency, i like my custard thick, you can adjust consistency according to your preference. let it cool down completely and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours before serving.
for fruit custard recipe:
  1. take a tall glass, add chopped bananas, apples and mangoes to it.
  2. pour 2 tbsp prepared custard over it and then place some sliced almonds.
  3. repeat the process by making layer of chopped fruits and custard.
  4. top it up with sliced almonds, cherry and few trutti frutti.
  5. similarly, you can add chopped fruits and sliced almonds to the custard and serve it as well.
  6. fruit custard / mixed fruit custard is ready, serve chilled.
Helpful Tips
- after turning off the flame, stir custard continuously for a minute. and even stir custard occasionally to avoid forming thick layer on the top.

- add fruits of your choice, sweet fruits goes very well with the fruit custard, you can add chickoo, black grapes, green grapes and pomegranate seeds.

- add sugar, if you want your custard to me more sweet.

- adding roasted nuts on the top will give nice crunch to the fruit custard the mixture.

- adjust consistency of the custard according to your preference.

- finally, serve fruit custard chilled by making layers or by mixing everything.
