Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ml)
for cooking pasta:
  • 1 cup penne pasta
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp oil
  • salt to taste
for white sauce:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup spinach, finely chopped
  • ½ cup par boiled mixed vegetables of your choice (i used carrots, beans, corns & peas)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour / maida
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2-3 cheese slices / 4 tbsp processed cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top
for cooking pasta:
  1. first of all, add water to a pan and add oil an salt to taste.
  2. then bring it to boil and add pasta to it.
  3. let the pasta cook till they turn soft. it will take around 10-12 minutes.
  4. they should be easy to break. drain the water from the pasta and keep aside.
for white sauce:
  1. heat butter in a pan.
  2. then add finely chopped garlic and saute till raw smell disappears.
  3. now add finely chopped spinach and par boiled mixed vegetables of your choice.
  4. saute on high flame for 2 minutes.
  5. now add salt to taste, mixed herbs, black pepper powder, red chilli flakes and all purpose flour.
  6. saute till the flour is cooked well and it turns light golden in colour.
  7. now add milk slowly, keep stirring continuously.
  8. once the mixture thickens, add cheese slices or grated cheese.
  9. mix well till the cheese melt nicely.
  10. finally add boiled paste to the pan.
  11. mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  12. sprinkle some parmesan cheese, parsley and serve hot.
Helpful Tips
- replace penne pasta with fettuccini, spaghetti or macaroni.

- add vegetables of your choice to make pasta in white sauce little healthy.

- add more cheese to make it more creamier.

- do not over cook the pasta. it should be easy to break.
