Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ml)
for chole recipe:
  • 2 tsp oil
  • ½ tso cumin seeds / jeera
  • 4 tbsp samosa stuffing
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp chole masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1½ cups boiled chick peas
  • ¼ tsp dry mango powder / amchur powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
for chole samosa chaat:
  • 2 punjabi samosa
  • 1-2 tbsp green chutney
  • 2 tbsp tamarind dates chutney
  • 1 tsp tomato garlic chutney
  • 1 tbsp tomatoes, chopped & deseeded
  • 1 tbsp onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp sev
  • 1 tsp sev puri masala
for chole recipe:
  1. first of all, heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  2. once it crackles, add samosa stuffing and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. now add water, chole masala, salt to taste and bring it to a boil.
  4. then add boiled chick peas, dry mango powder and red chilli powder.
  5. let the chole simmer for 15-20 minutes.
for chole samosa chaat:
  1. firstly, break samosa into pieces.
  2. then pour prepared chole over it.
  3. then add green chutney, tamarind dates chutney and tomato garlic chutney over it.
  4. now sprinkle few chopped tomatoes, onions and coriander leaves.
  5. now sprinkle lots of sev and sev puri masala.
  6. serve chole samosa chaat immediately.
Helpful Tips
- adding samosa stuffing in preparing chole gives nice taste to the chaat, however you can skip it.

- adjust spices and chutney according to your taste.

- serve chaat immediately to prevent it from becoming soggy.
